A hope far away!

Heyy, Look!
The beautiful land, across the bay!
Long, wide shores, and shallow white beaches,
Lush green vegetation and blue rolling hills,
The majestic oaks that spread invitingly,
to build a tree house up near the canopy.

Why not wonder,
What mysteries might lie ahead.
Misty waterfalls and cold swimming holes,
Slippery mudslides and swinging vines..!
And quite possibly, hidden cliffs, and poisonous snakes,
And maybe even, dark witches and angry ghosts!

Let's raw this boat across!
Sure, it's got holes in the stern,
Nothing we cannot fix, though, with some care!
With some love, patience and of course, blessings of a decent weather.
Coz, you see, I got some tools, and you got more,
and our laughs and screams and tears, together, might just get us there!

Yes! It's a bit scary,
The boat could be more sturdy.
And it's true, the opposite peer, does seem a bit far,
Yet, it's quite some distance, we have trekked to where we are!
And I know, if you are tired, it is only fare,
That you want rest, and descent into a pensive stare.

But you see, for me,
The horizon is too bright, to turn aback,
though I know, there are more lands I'll come across.
And when the beauty becomes sore, and day turns night,
I will turn my eyes, and follow the stars.
But until then, I will fix these rows,
For if and whence you're ready, there will be less work to be done.

Nice meeting you!!

It's nice to meet new people, but not always. But as far as internet/ blogging goes I know you simply will navigate away from the page If you are bored, or if you don't like it. Or hopefully you will criticize my posts with a comment. But the point is, I dont have to be so polite or be 'A nice person with all the good you can expect'. Neither do I have to care about my grammar or spelling which i am not good at anyway. Actually this first post is just an extension to my 'About me' paragraph. So, well I am, aaaa... A child , who loves cartoons more than any other video... A confused thinker tangled in a mess of words, Communism, Marxism, liberalism, capitalism.. followed by a lot lot more.... There is a part of me who wants to study politics; simply because, after all thats the only way -that I can think of- to make things better (BETTER..!! gosh!! thats another word I hate!!!). But the problem is, I am afraid to make the wrong choice, as 'HE' said, I s...

Can we rescue science from consciousness?

🙆  Physics is (just) the theory of machines that record information?  (been trying to say f u to science for a minute, and maybe this sticks... take it as seriously as any gen AI ofc) -- perplexity  ) 1. What Is a Machine? Science is about experiments and data, and data means measurements we make with machines. So if we are to talk about science, we probably should first understand what we require it to be.. A theory of measurements made with machines... So, let's say that a “machine” is any device, natural or made, that marks the world in a measurable way. It could be a telescope catching light, a computer bit changing from 0 to 1, or your eyes perceiving motion. Each machine records  values , and it does so in a  space and time  grid—call it 3+1D, three dimensions of space, one of time. But the grid is only our way to track things. It doesn’t have to be straight or flat. It could be curved, spinning, folded, or branching. The spacing between points—th...

Why school districts?

School districts seem pretty intuitive, accepting only kids that live close to school. But is it really a fair approach? The schools in low income neighborhoods gets less and less resources (not particularly monetary resources, but personnel resources), and kids in those areas tend to mingle with more and more high risk kids which creates a downward spiral of negative youth development. On the contrary, if the schools would accept any kid, from, say the county, or the state, that would flatten out this problem. Yes, you wouldnt want your kid to be hanging out with those gangster kids... But the reality is, your child looks for peers who matches his and his parents views. Thus if you spend more time looking after him, you wouldnt have to worry as much about his or her peers.

Climate Change..!!!

It is quite a heated debate that is revolving around the climate change and its effects. I was really ignorant on that 'debate' until i met a couple of science students who held a different view than that of mine. So, I was wondering what others think specially near the UN conference on Climate Change, and here's a poll. Just mark what you think, and fill out the form if you like. The real poll is on top of the page. The one on the bottom is to just see what different societies and age groups think of this issue. (Don't try to research before answering..!:D coz that'll foil the purpose..! ) thanx Loading...
